Tamara Tortosa
Tamara is a nurse with over 13 years’ experience in critical care, theatres, and clinical quality assurance. She recently completed an MSc in Health Policy at Imperial College London and is passionate about improving health outcomes through both individual support and system-level change. Combining frontline clinical expertise with strong academic insight, she is committed to advancing quality, safety, and innovation in healthcare through Qalyup.

Dr. Lorena Robaina Cabrera
Dr. Lorena Robaina Cabrera is a medical scientist specialising in pharmacology and genetics, with a PhD from King’s College London. She brings over 20 years of experience in critical care and clinical nursing leadership, combining deep scientific expertise with extensive frontline and managerial practice. At Qalyup, Lorena ensures that key decisions are evidence-based and research-driven, enabling expansion into new markets while maintaining the academic rigour of our quality assurance processes.

Dr. Deepak Kotak provides strategic guidance from a uniquely broad perspective. A former critical care and anaesthesia consultant and a qualified lawyer, Dee brings rare breadth, combining frontline clinical insight with deep legal and governance expertise. With 14 years of startup experience across MedTech, biotech, digital health and AI, and board-level experience as a Non-Executive Director and Chair, he has supported and scaled multiple healthcare ventures. His thoughtful challenge, strategic clarity and well-rounded leadership make him an invaluable voice in guiding Qalyup’s growth.

Louise Hill
Louise brings over 20 years of marketing leadership across wellness, tech, finance, and retail, with the last decade focused exclusively on start-ups. She combines big-brand commercial discipline, gained at brands like Karen Millen and Ogilvy, with the knowledge of building a brand from scratch. At Qalyup, Louise helps ensure that people who need us can find us, and that we communicate the value we bring to people's journeys effectively. Outside of marketing, Louise is a qualified Pilates teacher and corrective exercise specialist with a focus on pelvic health and pre/postnatal women. Supporting other women is at her soul.
